Letters to the landscape

Inspired by hikes, walks, and moments of connection with nature, Letters to the Landscape explores the beauty, wonder, and emotional resonance of the landscapes that have shaped me. From Bay Area trails and wildflowers to the dramatic desert forms of Zion and Sedona, each painting serves as a personal reflection on place, memory, and presence. Through painting, I seek to preserve the feeling of being immersed in nature, the stillness before sunrise, the surprise of a wildflower beside the trail, or the vastness of a landscape that lingers long after the journey ends. These works are invitations to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the beauty around us.
