Let’s turn your favorite place into a custom art piece you’ll live with

Commissioned Artwork

I create original abstract landscape paintings inspired by memory, emotion, nature, and personal connection to place. Whether it’s a mountain you hiked, a landscape that feels like home, or simply a feeling you want captured in color and texture, each commissioned piece is created with care and intention.

My goal is not to recreate a photograph exactly, but to create an emotional landscape that feels deeply personal and timeless.

Why Commission from Me?

Before I picked up a brush as a professional artist, I trained as an architect and landscape architect, years spent thinking about scale, space, and how a place makes you feel. That background shapes every painting I make. A commission with me isn’t a copy of your photo; it’s your landscape reinterpreted with the same care I once gave to buildings and gardens, composed, intentional, and built to hold a feeling long after the moment has passed.

Frequently Asked Questions

I create original abstract landscape paintings inspired by nature, memory, emotion, and meaningful places. Many commissions are inspired by mountains, hiking trails, lakes, skies, or landscapes that hold personal significance.

No. My work is interpretive rather than photorealistic. I use reference images and stories as inspiration while creating a painting that captures the feeling and essence of a place.

You’ll see progress updates and can share feedback at key checkpoints. Since these pieces are interpretive, major changes to composition should be settled before painting begins.
