Artist Statement
My work explores the quiet space where nature, emotion, and intuition meet. As an abstract landscape artist, I am drawn to the subtle ways the outer world mirrors our inner lives. Through layered textures, soft lines, and expressive color, I create visual meditations that reflect moments of stillness, transformation, and belonging.
I work primarily in oils and gouache, using the language of landscape to express inner states that often feel beyond words. Inspired by my hiking journeys, everyday walks, and the emotional resonance of natural places, I paint intuitively, allowing each piece to unfold as a dialogue between what I observe and what I feel. With a background in architecture, my compositions are shaped by a deep sensitivity to form, space, and balance.
Each painting is a process of tuning inward, a way to slow down, reconnect, and make meaning. My hope is that the work invites others to do the same: to pause, to feel, and to find a sense of beauty, reflection and connection in their own lives.
